aPARKment
Delete your account
You can delete your aPARKment account and its data at any time. The quickest way
is inside the app; if you have already uninstalled it, email us and we will do it for you.
In the app
- Open aPARKment and go to Profile.
- Scroll to Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
Deletion happens straight away. You will be signed out and your account cannot be recovered.
If you no longer have the app
Email support@aparkment.co
from the address you signed up with, and ask us to delete your account. We will confirm by
email once it is done.
What gets deleted
- Your profile — name, email address, photo and the buildings you belong to.
- Your parking spaces, the availability you shared and your booking history.
- Your messages and call-outs, and the device registrations used to send you notifications.
What happens first
So that nobody is stranded, the app asks you to tidy up two things before it can finish:
- If someone currently has a booking on your space, that booking must end or be cancelled first.
- If you are the only admin of a building, hand that role to another resident first — otherwise
the building would be left with nobody able to manage it.
Deleting some of your data, without deleting your account
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove things you have shared:
- A message — press and hold it in the conversation and choose Delete.
It is removed for everyone in that conversation.
- A parking space you registered — open Profile, tap the
space, and choose Remove this spot.
- Your photo — tap your picture in Profile and choose
Remove.
- A building you no longer live in — open Profile and
tap Leave building.
- Usage analytics — switch them off at any time under
Profile → Share usage data.
- Anything else, including past usage analytics and crash diagnostics —
email support@aparkment.co
from the address you signed up with, tell us what you would like removed, and we will
delete it and confirm by email. Your account stays exactly as it is.
What we may keep
A small amount of information is kept where we are required to, or where deleting it would
undermine safety — for example limited booking or report records used to resolve disputes.
Crash diagnostics and usage analytics are pseudonymous: they are keyed to a random
identifier and contain no name, email address, unit number, building name or message content.
They are not removed automatically, so tell us in your email if you would like those deleted too
and we will take care of it. This mirrors sections 5 and 6 of our
Privacy Policy.
